Bead Embroidery Pendant

I just finished this pendant, a jasper cab and various size 11 and 8 seed beads. Next I have to make the necklace to go with it. I am thinking a spiral rope with a lot of the beads used to surround the pendant. I am new to bead embroidery but I really enjoyed making this pendant. I may add fringe to this but I want to see it on a necklace first.

Jean, noone would know that you're a "newbie" to bead embroidery (then again, that Mayan cuff is baptism by fire!). This is gorgeous. Love the colors.

My opinion, and it's only my opinion, is that too often we create necklaces that overpower the pendants. I think something simple would be quite striking for this piece. Again, just my two cents.

This is beautiful Jean! I can't wait to see how you finish it. I'm a member of the 'less is more' school, but I can also appreciate lots of embellishment.

Have fun!
