Finished this bracelet this morning. It is round, flat peyote - I found this in Carol Cypher's book "Mastering Beadwork" - she stitched Peyote Mandalas. I thought I would join them and make a bracelet. I used size 8 seed beads and worked 9 rounds. I love the colors in these rounds and decided to call the bracelet Kaleidoscope - it fits!

I finished this bracelet a while ago as a single spiral. I was never quite happy with it. I pulled it out last night and decided to try and add another spiral (the purple one). It worked great and now I am very happy with the bracelet - it looks fuller and so much better - I relisted it on my Etsy Shop.

This Peyote cuff bracelet called "Blaze" was made for the Etsy Beadweavers April Challenge - Fire & Flowers. The band is made with size 8 seed beads in red. The stitch is two drop peyote with size 11 matching red seed beads used for picots. The focal is a small black button with rows of peyote stitches in yellow. It has many rows of fringe in red, orange and yellow seed beads. The closure is a hand made toggle. The band is a little over 1 inch wide and the focal is 1 3/4 inches wide. This bracelet will fit a size 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 inch wrist.
The theme for this month was Fire & Flowers and I wanted to make a cross between fireworks and an actual flower. I thought the fringe would work well for this.

This pendant was created from a turquoise donut. It has rows of peyote stitch and leaf fringe on the bottom. The hole in the donut is filled with a hematite and size 11 seed bead. The necklace is a spiral rope in the same size 11 beads that highlight the pendant and the core is black size 11 seed beads. I took a ride down to the ocean last week and it was grey and raining - very damp, silvery and beautiful - hence the name. This necklace is 17 inches long plus the closure. The pendant is 2 3/4 inches long including the fringe and 1 1/2 wide.

I had made this arrow head pendant from size 8 silver and dark pink beads awhile ago. I decided to put it on a spiral rope using size 11 beads. I think it worked out really good. The length of the necklace is 16 inches plus the closure. The focal is 2 inches in length and 1 3/4 inches wide. This is in my Etsy Shop here.

This is a new spiral rope necklace I finished last night - I have named it "Muse". The focal is a clay pendant I purchased awhile ago. The necklace is a spiral rope in size 11 seed beads in pearl and a purple/brown color that really matches the pendant. This necklace is 16 inches plus the handmade toggle closure. I will list this in my Etsy Shop tomorrow.

New pendant and spiral rope necklace. I had this brown/purpleish bead around for a long time. My new thing is to try and not buy anything but use what I have - so I decided to wrap the bead and make a pendant and necklace out of it. It came out way better than I thought it would - it is quite beautiful. Listed in my Etsy Shop here. What I am doing is looking through my stash and picking odds and ends and that I plan on using in upcoming projects.
