Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at a freeform "something" I started last night. I think it may become a necklace not sure yet. I just started by putting together a lot of left over seed beads in the blue family. I started doing peyote, added some larger beads and this is it so far. I really want to get working on this today - I like it so far but I did have nightmares about finishing it last night ;-(

Coffee & Cream - RAW Embellished Bracelet

RAW embellished cuff bracelet called "Coffee and Cream". The band is made with size 11 seedbeads in dark brown and then it is embellished with size 6 cream seed beads. The closure is a hand made loop and toggle. The band is 1 inch wide. This bracelet will fit a size 6 1/2 inch wrist.

I am in the mood to make something new and exciting - something major for a change - I will have to think on this and see what I come up with.

Two New RAW Bracelets

Just finished these 2 new RAW embelished bracelets one in amber and one in green. Both will fit a size 6 1/2 inch wrist. I guess you can tell I had more green beads than amber.

Voodoo - Braded Fringed Necklace

Sooo - I liked my other fringed necklace so much I thought I would try another one but a bit different. This one is made using size 8 seed beads and grey chips - using size 8 beads it is much quicker to make and the necklace is much more robust than using the size 11 beads. For this necklace I worked off a base of 2 drop peyote rather than netting. It is 16 inches in length plus the closure. The fringe measures 3 inches at it widest point in the center.

Havana - Beadwoven Fringed Necklace

Well this is the necklace I have been working on for quite a few days. It started off with size 11 seed beads in brown and iris purple in a net stitch. After this was completed I added a LOT of branch fringe in the same size 11 seed beads and other beads and chips in earth tones. This necklace is 16 1/2 inches plus the closure and is more in keeping with the way I envision my beading evolving - at least for now.
